So do you have pictures of him recently? Not asking for you to post them or you obviously would have, just wondering if you have seen the end result of what he became.

I have quite a few mid/later July pictures. His tips were still quite bulbiss and forming. He was probably a 140 class last year...he has an insanely odd and unique rack style. This year he threw a split G2 on one side, and extra time between his G2 and G3 on the other side and some other stickers throughout. I'll save displaying his end or close for once I sense his growth is done.

Hey swampy, I love your memes.

Things are getting interesting here at my cabin.
Sky is rumbbeling and turning that ( yeller color).
Just backed my suburban away from any big trees.
Put a pizza on the grill about 5 minutes ago.
Yes, thems beer cans on the ground:beer::rock:

Only make it here 2 times a month in the summer. Mostly to mow but did have time to get some rye/ oats in.
Sky's getting wierder as post this?

Sitting on the deck with my dog, drinking beer and posting on here. Life is GOOD!!

Ive still got most of a deer in my freezer, once i finish up some house projects its jerky making season. I made 130 odd pounds of deer brats and Italian sausage last fall and still have enough left to not need to make more right now.

think Ill just keep making large batches of jerky than vacuum seal and freeze.

    hey @Brad Kaufmann -

how come the search function appears to only go back a year? I know I made several posts about this deer 2-3 years ago; but when I search I only get one result-

I would have PMd but you can't post screenshots in PMs

“Cirrhosis of the River” is coming along well. Going on a four day public land canoe in and camp with my brother in law opening weekend. Zero expectations on bucks, but this canoe has to be on point. I bought some paint from Rural King but it turned out to be junk, and I wanted nasty oil based stuff, so I had to settle for a gloss base coat. But wait!... there’s more to come! Hopefully I’ll have the finished paint job pics about Thursday. Then it’s LEDs on the inside.
    Blue gel coat factory color..

Did you use acid etching primer? Need to use that on aluminum or it will just flake off after time.

I was going to paint my jon boat but once I got it primered I decided I liked the primer color and wasted $50 on a gallon of paint

Fiberglass. The aluminum one I bought had pin holes in it and I got my money back and the guy wouldn’t take the canoe back.

Are you sure that was paint and not a dead critter in there?
