2020 was a pretty good year. Covid kept me close to home and prevented my Africa Bow hunt but I did manage to make it out to a few states to test some new bowhunting gear that will be hitting the market soon while taking a few animals. Im lucky in that I design bowhunting gear for my company and a few others so I have to go out and test those products on live game all over the USA (and Africa if Covid doesnt stop me)

Hmm, who do you test/design for? Looks like Walmart camo:confused:, I’m not a camo/gear snob just curious. Looks like a good haul for 2020

    Edit: what gear***

The best camo is sit down and be quiet. I either make my own camo, or buy garage sale stuff. After nearly 50 years of bowhunting Ive learned that camo is for the buyer and very little for the game we chase. They just dont care. Hence, no need to spend any money there but I do enjoy the fashionestas that REALLY live a certain camo pattern. I will wear some logo stuff from the Wisconsin Bowhunters Assoc just to support that org. and they have all manner of mismatched patterns. If I can put money in their hands, Im happy to support them which is why I posted the Press release in the press release area earlier.

As for gear. I own my own bowhunting company but I also work for several others to bring their ideas to life and to market. Then I get to field test the stuff all over the world. I get to shoot tons (literally tons) of animals with a bow. The last 3 years its been roughly 9,000 pounds of live weight, bow killed critters.

Sometimes camo is not needed at all but we feel obligated to wear it even though it is meaningless.
