That's true! I know I had a few times in past were I had 20 plus hours between sheds! Scary! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
These are all approximate miles but are pretty close. 2014 - 31.3 miles and 23 sheds 2015 - 24.5 miles and 5 sheds 2016 - 8.1 miles and 0 sheds 2017 - 4 miles and 5 sheds 2018 - 5.9 miles and 7 sheds 2019 - 4.5 miles and 0 sheds I really want to get my miles to 20+ every year. Early spring for planting and my son sure dropped my time spent out there those last 4 years.
Data, barely any. Battery usage is pretty low. I used to have onx and it would drain my battery. Sent from my Z971 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Haha, definitely see when you started having kids from your data. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I sometimes walk 11 or 12 miles in one day shed hunting to find 4 or 5 so to find 23 with only 31 miles walked is pretty impressive.
I feel this on a personal level. Some days/spots are fantastic, averaging probably over 2 sheds per mile. Other times its 0 sheds in 25 miles. That's when I start to lose it a little bit.
Well I just had one of those days. Walked for 6 hours and found nothing! So depressing! I did come across this today, spring is on the way! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I use MapMyRun. Doesn’t seem to drain my battery too much. I usually go out for just a couple hours. Just keep it in a pocket next to your body so the cold doesn’t contribute to the battery loss. For some reason my replacement battery on my iPhone 6 drains in no time in my coat pocket.
Just picked up #4! This sucks because I need to leave soon and don't know if I will be back here anytime soon. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Mom was gone so little man and I took a quick walk this afternoon. Didn't go where I was real confident but it was a good easy spot to get to with all the snow we have yet. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I used MapMyRun yesterday for 2 hrs. Only used up 20% of my battery. Mid 30’s outside and phone was in my pants pocket staying warm. Didn’t find anything. Still a good foot of crunchy snow in our woods. Should have brought the snowshoes wasn’t a fun walk.
Just picked first one of the morning. Old one, stepped right on it. I looked back to see what I stepped on, and sure enough a shed! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
