I was planning on shed hunting all today but I had to work this morning and afternoon so I was only able to get a brief hour-long shed hunt in. Not racks but I do have a 1 1/2 on camera that has antlers on the 1st of Feb. And nothing on the 4th so I can't wait to get out next week to look for him. I have 2-3, 4+yr olds that I have around but since I don't have food anywhere they aren't as frequent. I just hope they dropped theirs while coming through.

Thats flat out impressive. I will be putting on some miles this weekend! I think it should be pretty good, I haven't seen a buck carrying in a week or so.

I got out last night for a quick walk. I was in the right spot, lots of feeding sign, but no sheds yet. I think the earliest I've found a shed there is February 17. I will be back out this weekend, still looking for my first fresh one!

It went from 0-60 fast here i normally have a lull between feb 1st and the 20th but i cleaned up this year. We also got pounded with a ton of snow and very cold and i think that forced a lot of them to drop.

Got out this morning but didn't find any sheds. I did find a big dead head! Alot of mass on this one. Wish I would have found his sheds and he was still alive for next year.[IMG][IMG]

Looks like he woulda been a nice one. Sucks finding them like that.

I'm getting ready to head out myself. Hoping to find few, gonna check the wheat fields again and them maybe walk a small block of timer. Would think with the snow gone and temps dropped back down they woulda been hitting food hard.
