I hate the Monday Night double header. Their ratings have to tank for the late game. If they want to have two games cool, keep it on the West Coast if that is who they are catering to and play it like the afternoon Sunday games and SNF. Absolutely stupid to start a game at 10:30pm for those on the EST. I'll be mad if the Steelers are ever put in that slot, imagine if it went into OT
it would be 2am - 3am i would stay up for the steelers but i know i will fall asleep this monday night. 11 pm is bed time
Raiders are trying to build a team long term and they give guaranteed money and hire this idiot. The worst team mate ever. I can't imagine the stuff he pulled in Pittsburgh behind the scenes. I like the Raiders GM for fining and suspending him.
Steelers are looking like genius's for agreeing to trade him. We would be dealing with this and more as his helmet wasn't allowed regardless of team. Gruden will pamper him though, Gruden's ego may be a tad larger than AB's
Article I just read stated they may be suspended him to void his contract and the 31 million guaranteed. Jerry Jones will gladly take him
I'll stand by my original Packers 11-5 , though I'm only 50/50 they start out 1-0. That Bears defense is just an amazing unit with Mack on the field. Go Pack Go!!!
I hope they do and I hope the league black balls his sorry self absorbed butt. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
It will be after we play them so could care less where he ends up. Steelers defense looked ready during preseason. Been awhile since they've had a legitimate "Curtain". If they can stop the deep threats that have plagued them and continue stopping plays on first contact I like my 12-4 call for them. That defense looks like it can make up for the loss of Brown and Bell on offense, and it's not like they have no one left on offense after.
Whether you love him or hate him, I played college ball with Coach Tomlin. He was a great teammate. I root for the Steelers. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
This guy is a sleeper RB.....he is going to tear it up this year. Guice. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I have mixed feelings on it. On one hand I feel he helped create the mess they were in by allowing slack or whatever for their egos to run unchecked. I never liked the "we handled it internally" when asked about players being fined or disciplined for skipping meetings or OTA's. On the other hand, I like his style(Haters jump in here about the step onto the field on an interception return ) on how games went and play on the field. He's no nonsense about it, accepting blame and letting the players know that they control what happens on the field, and if they do their job refs don't matter, mostly anyway. Now that I am seeing the behind the scenes antics of Brown under the spotlighted microscope, it changes my views a bit. I'm sure Bell wasn't as bad, but his ego wasn't kept under check either, although that was more the GM and Rooney's to do with contracts and such I loved Tomlin the first few years, but then when they would go nowhere in the playoffs it irritated me and I started questioning his coaching ability. I'll let this season play out and see if it changes my mind. I legitimately believe they are a SB contender without seeing them in a game that counts. Call me biased, but I have no problem criticizing them when they falter either.
