LOL anyone who thinks marijuana gives you an advantage is dead wrong and has never smoked a day in their life. The saddest part here is the guy could have been high off his butt on Fentanyl and no one would have cared. These rules must have been made up by a bunch of old timers who think weed is the devil.

Just like most major sports, doesn't matter what state in which you live or play, they dont allow you to use it. Blanket rule.

Yes it is illegal in all states under federal law. Regardless if a state legalized it, it is illegal. Does the federal government enforce it? Not yet, but they will eventually IMO.

Oh and yes the USADA thinks it does matter, along with beta blockers too. You are entitled to your opinion, but the fact of the matter is he did not follow the rules, and cheated, therefore he was disqualified.

......but I still want to see a separate football league with no restrictions on PED’s or drugs in general. Just straight roided out monsters

Some strains of marijuana really do heighten concentration for hobbies and work, while others are more of a muscle relaxant.

Reality is when entering this event, you sign paperwork stating you aren't using a specific list of substances. These substances have been proven to enhance performance, it's not about the law it's about a level playing field. Many of the substances on that list are legal and can be bought over the counter and many are illegal as well.

While Eyler isn't full time with his archery career, many people competing at that level are. This is their livelihood. And many of them can't put clothes on their kids, pay the mortage, etc unless they are winning.

If you're the guy that did everything right and ended up in 2nd place, the difference in just purse money is $38,000. Add in contingency money from sponsors, and you're talking about well over $100k. If that's your job and primary means of income, you better believe it matters if someone else is getting an unfair advantage with banned substances.

I don't know Eyler personally, but do know several people that do. Everyone says he's a great guy. Unfortunately he made a mistake here, and I'm certain many before him have done the same. But it's probably time they get things cleaned up for the integrity of the sport.

Had a shooter sneaking through some thick stuff with a doe behind that I didnt see till it was too late. He was oblivious, she caught my movement and locked up. They didnt spook but also didnt come a step closer. They walked off where they came from. At least I know he's here.

Depends, they could start machining aluminum risers to smoke out of. Duel purpose bows. 80 yard poke and a toke? Is it a release pouch.....or a weed pouch? In all seriousness though, the bow didnt piss hot.
