Actually yes. He was Matt Ryans QB coach when he won his MVP, he was rg3's QB coach his rookie year, he also was with the Rams when their offense took off. I don't pretend to think I know who is the best candidate, I was not there during the interviews. It does look like the defensive coaching staff will be staying with the team. In all honesty Jake I didn't pay attention until they announced the candidates then I researched.
Robbie Gould has only missed 3 kicks since the bears let him go, the kickers that have tried to replace him have missed 16 kicks.
Yeah his name has been tossed around for a while as a future head coach. A local radio show here even said he's a guy to keep an eye on back in like November for the Packers.
He can run the team using new innovative plays that is better than running the same old crap that was not working. Good QB's get to change plays at the line.
I think it's great how everyone blamed the coach for how terrible the Packers were doing, and once they fired the coach, they were still just as bad. Sure the coaching has something to do with it, but there are larger issues at hand IMO.
Jake, you know they ran the same plays Mike did right? The only thing different was the head coach was gone, they ran the same offense.
What is the point in doing that? Why fire the coach but then run the same plays that got the coach fired? That makes about 0 sense to me.
You generally can not change the entire offense on the fly with a team that is eliminated from the playoffs. Especially when the O coordinator is now the head coach.
Okay, who do you have this weekend? I'm picking the colts for the upset over KC, Rams, over the Cowboys Patriots barely over the chargers with their run game. The Eagles upset the Saints.
I’m cheering for Nick 9” the rest of the way. Wentz is a big time outdoorsman so I like him a lot. Lesser of all evils. The Chicago loss was sweet sweet sweet. As far as Matt goes, I like the hire. Someone new. Not mad about that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Can the Vikings please get an offensive line? Cousins became the first player in NFL history to pass for 4,000+ yards, 30 touchdowns, complete at least 70% of passes and throw 10 or fewer interceptions in a season in 2018. I see no way eagles beat the saints in the dome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
the 10 or fewer ints is kind of misleading, total turnovers by Cousins would be a more accurate gauge of his efficiencies considering his tendency to fumble. Not sure how they fix the line with 10 million in cap space. Can you trust a GM to turn it around when he puts his shoes and socks on before he puts his pants on?
Very true regarding the fumbles. Nothing pisses me off more than watching him try to scramble and get strip sacked from behind. Seems like it happens every game.
