I was going to go 4 for 4 on my picks until that little fairy in mismatched shoes pissed it down his leg.

Looks like Parkey is off the hook as the ball was tipped.

I honestly will not be upset if the Chargers beat the Patriots this weekend. I really want to see Rivers win it all.

They still did not have a starting QB after the SB Wentz was not ready when he did play. Nick was cheap insurance and really it worked out better for him. Had Nick been traded he would have played this season in a prove it role for his next contract, the way it worked out he will be a free agent with his stock very high.

That missed kick stung a bit for sure. I thought Mitch played pretty well in spite of a few of those "WTF are you thinking?!?!" moments that every young QB seems to have. When they needed him the most he made some great throws and put them in position to win. I honestly feel bad for Parkey. He's a good kicker and a good guy who just had some bad breaks this year. Sucks that the season had to end that way but it is what it is. Life goes on and we look forward to next year. As I told my 6 year old last night - welcome to a life of frustration and let-downs as a Bears fan.

Now I just need to figure out who I'm rooting for from here on out. I hate Philip Rivers so definitely not the Chargers, and I can't really root for another NFC team as they're all enemies in my eyes. I may cheer for Brady and company to win one again just because it pisses everyone off. Kind of like shooting deer with a crossbow.

Packers hire Matt Lafleur(Tennessee OC) for head coach.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. Tennessee offense wasn't ground breaking

I'm not real sure. No prior HC experience, and as Monster Raxx stated, not anything standout with Titan's offense. He was the LA Rams OC 2 seasons ago.

With Mariota one doesnt have a lot of passing options. Serious. What the hell is a guy supposed to game plan when the QB is hurt all the time then passes from 145 yds a game?

Plus head coaches dont need to be great coordinators to make a great head coach. They need to be a great manager. Many a great coordinator has sucked at being a head coach. Sometimes the best workers aren't the best business managers....

I like the hire. Better than the other 9 people they interviewed. A young offensive minded coach who won't run 20 running back draws a game.

I'm not knocking the guy by any means. I know nothing of him, just tried to answer his question, I didn't know whether it was good, bad or indifferent

I agree with your second post. Every great head coach had to start somewhere.

I hope every current and past Dolphins' player sends Saban a get well soon card.

That's the reason I root against 'bama. 11 years ago Saban abandoned his team in the NFL to play it safe in college football after denying he would take the position.
