The one we have is a BEAST though.

Green Bay has a young core of very good players, this ship won’t be a bad one to inherit.

Aaron Rodgers better hope they can turn things around in a hurry. His ridiculously bad record when trailing teams with a winning record while trailing by more than a point in the fourth quarter and only 1 Super Bowl are going to have him not as the GOAT (except to delusional and fantasy football fans) but the most over rated QB of all time. He also will be thought of like the Atlanta Braves...you know the ones with the incredible starting pitchers and like Rodgers 1 ring...Under Achievers!

Or as Michael Strahan said, "this time it's the coach, next time it's the players"

I agree with you Tom except the part of being the most over rated. Matt Ryan, Carson Palmer, Phiilip Rivers, Andy Dalton, are pretty damn over rated. Is Drew over rated he only has 1 ring?

I did bring that up on a Packers forum with fans lamenting how different the last 13 years would have been had the Packers hired Shawn Payton instead of Mike. 1 Super Bowl win with most years the D was garbage.

No proof, Just my conjecture---I do believe Aron Rogers threw the last part of this season just to get back at Mccarthy for getting rid of Jordy !!! seems to have worked !

Sota, if I say something bad about Rogers will his mommy call me to yell at me and tell me to stop picking on Aaron?

I don't think that Darla would give two craps about what you say about her son. I can check and get back to you.

Ryan, Palmer, Rivers and Dalton have never been mentioned as one of the greatest QB's of all time. I have said this for a long time and other than fantasy football stats Rodgers doesn't belong in the same discussion as Brady, Manning, Elway and Montana.

Marino had all the talent in the world like Rodgers but in time Marino is hardly ever mentioned when people talk about the greatest QB's of all time.

Are you asking if I think Rodgers is going in the HOF...if so yes I just don't put him in the top 5...not sure he's even top 10 of all time.

Mike was allowed and welcomed back to the facility to address and say good bye to his coaching staff and the players the next day, it was a nice gesture that illustrates the class of the Green Bay Packers not the best way to celebrate year 100 but go ahead count us out for next season. Go Pack Go I will be watching Sunday. Aaron will have another SB MVP write that down.

You always have a valid point Tom, I can’t deny this. What you say is the truth and I can understand how people would overate Rodgers based on his close games against winning QBs record and overall number of wins.

Let me ask you this: What DOES Rodgers have to do to be considered one of the all time greats?

Constantly making deep playoff runs with all time great statistics and bottom 33% (and sometimes even the WORST) defense in the league in pretty impressive.

They had a top 10 defense ONCE. And they won the Super Bowl with the biggest challenge being the Bears rivalry game. Rodgers was PERFECT against Atlanta that year and close to perfect against Pittsburg.

Brady has 5 rings. We all know this. He also had a top 10 defense for all of them and the #1 defense for more than one. This is itself goes to show the value of defense. You give Rodgers and/or Brady a top 10 D and they are in the super bowl.

Brees got his ring because the defense nullified Peyton Manning. Ben got both of his because of the legendary Steelers defense and an amazing performance from Troy Polimalu.

How many times has Rodgers lead a game winning or game tying drive in the playoffs only to have the defense crumble? I can name 2 right off the rip...Arizona, Seattle. And in 2009 he got his helmet yanked off on the fumble that gave Arizona that win after he led the Packers to 45 points.

Over the last two seasons Rodgers has played less than perfect. He’s also been dragging around a garbage defense and injured. Because of the stuff Stephan A. Smith says about him people hold him to a higher standard than anyone else (which is probably fair).

He’s very comparable to LeBrons time in Cleveland. The Packers 2010 roster was pretty damn good and they won it all just like LeBron in 2015. The rest of the time they were never the favorite but still played great football. Nobody denies that LeBron is an all time great but he doesn’t win it all every year.

I’m also excited to see him challenge Brady’s record for most passes without an interception today. He’s already got the #2 and #3 longest streaks.

Lebron has been to the last EIGHT finals! That in itself is remarkable. He takes whatever team is handed to him, throws them on his back and takes them to the finals. I think it's all about championships. Nobody remembers what defense did what or who was on rosters. Brady has done what he has with not exactly elite offensive players (for the most part). Rodgers is great, but another title certainly wouldn't hurt his legacy.

Caleb I think Rodgers has enough time and is good enough to move up the list. I think he has to beat good teams in the fourth quarter. Great QB's beat other great teams especially late in games. I am surprised he hasn't been able to do it yet. I don't even know if he has to win another Super Bowl to move up the list but it wouldn't hurt. If you had to win a playoff game and you are down 6 points with out a lot of time be honest who do you want throwing the ball. It has to be Brady, Montana or Elway...they have done it against great teams over and over again.
