The defense allowed CJ BEATHARD to score 30 points against them. CJ is one of the worst QB's in the league... Behind maybe Peterman. The defense should have been a lot more up than down.

As I have said beginning in preseason and all through the season so far. You can only lean on one guy for so long and can only count on comebacks for so long. The defense needs help in a big way.

Well, even if though I know we suck, at least the games have been fun to watch.

I'm always amazed at what Rodgers is capable of doing.

This team just needs to play like they do in the 4th for the entire game, almost unstoppable in the 4th quarter of every game except Buffalo.

How about the diamond formation? How did the 49ers not cover that or call a time out? As pissed as I want to be about the game 400 yards passing 3 receivers with over 100 yards each and over 500 total offensive yards can't really complain except about the usage of timeouts.

My wife texted me last night and then texted again sorry. She forgot the Packers were, she knows I don't usually respond to texts during a game. I only exchange texts with my son. Kinda funny he was streaming so his feed was 45 seconds behind what I was watching, he was getting pissed at me for texting big plays before he saw them.

Back to back weeks of 400 yards passing and no interceptions, Aaron is pretty good but considering the scoring and yards and pass attempts are all way up over week 6. Fantasy football has made defense impossible in the 2018 NFL season. I guess I can quit fretting over the Packers porous D.

Yup, that was a boneheaded thing by the defense but not the only time the niner defense looked confused.

You're suggesting that fantasy football is to blame for the increase of offense and the decrease of defense this year?

Not sure how the effect of something can also be the cause of something? Fantasy scores are the effect of the game, not the cause of the game....
Pretty sure the goal has always and will always be the same regardless of Fantasy football, Score as many points as possible, keep the opponents to as little as possible? Think the packers D is sucking so that people with Beathard as their QB can get some points? smh.... dumbest comment I've read today...

Unfortunately my GF is a huge Packers fan, (from GB, even did an internship with them) so we had a party last night at my place and it was quite the game ender... definitely made for an entertaining night

Many defensive players are saying that with the rules they are unable to play defense they way they used to. Offense and numbers are driving the league now and what does that benefit? Fantasy football.

I get that... But fantasy football is not to blame for rule changes or the decline in defense in the NFL. Sure the rule changes have helped offensive numbers and that has an impact on Fantasy Football, but fantasy football has 0 to do with how the game is being played.

And the NFL network does not have a channel that just shows teams in the red zone. I will say it is not all fantasy football but what drives viewership? Scoring and all that comes with it from gambling to fantasy football. The rules have been changed to facilitate that.

I agree with sota here. I know one of the main things they push is player safety but I would have to think when the discussion of these rule changes come up part of the arguments are this will help put up offensive numbers and make fantasy football more fun. I would say it’s not the only definitive reason for sure but the owners know fantasy football has been huge for the viewership of the new generation of fans.

I think the NFL primarily cares about money. How to make more of it, and how to spend less of it. Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and the like being healthy enough to play makes them more money. Paying out less in civil suits from brain diseases as a result of players time in the NFL saves money. Those are why the rules changed IMO
