    Anyone else using HuntStand for wind directions and have you found any fault in it.
    Any better apps for weather? I’ve been using huntstand for 4-5 years didn’t know if there is a better one out there.
    Looks like the wind will have me in the tree stand in the morning. We will see if he comes out to play.

    I use the app DarkSky ($3.99?) and it has been fantastic. I would say that it is mostly correct, which is wayyyy better than most other apps that I have used in the past. I know that OnX has implemented a weather feature but haven't explored that much.

    Speaking of that...I just got a video and pic of Young Bull...my honest 2.5 yr old thank God he made it...I have never had a buck with more potential 32722.jpeg

    I loaded the onX and like the property owner and boundaries are posted. But when I first clicked on weather it popped up with a message that because of the government shutdown data was not available..yeah ok.
    Either way I’m in a tree somewhere. Must be boring for all you buck killers!!!!

    I used to use it but switched I just found the Drury outdoors deer cast I like that one a lot also I have the My Radar app and I just turn on the wind direction layer and it shows where the wind is coming from.

    I really like HuntWise to pin stands and set ideal wind locations. It’ll give you a visual of your scent stream and wind direction

    Update.......Nothing here.......back to you in the station.

    It’s cold and nasty wet. Don’t know how but my socks are wet. 15 mph wind I hate these days.

    I have both sympathy and empathy my friend. Wish I could give everyone 1 weekend and call it family days....all birthday, anniversary, holidays, and randomnish could and would be covered .... any weekend in August works

    As I have been bored ****less waiting for Collin to take me out yote hunting I figured I would look around. I noticed that the teams that were more active in thread had more points. So thanks guys for checking in and being active throughout the season. I know it's not a direct correlation but it's there. We are in the home stretch and fairly certain we got this. Congrats you magnificent bastatds.
    Dont forget to PM Troy and tell him to sell his bow to me.
