    Saw my #1 hit lister this evening, thought he was making his way toward me thru the trees but he either skirted me or went in a different direction... Mature bucks have been showing themselves on camera the last few days...hopefully that keeps up for another week or two! Probably won’t be able to get back out until Saturday.

    got the score sheet printed out now to find time to score it. plenty of time still. i'll have a doe coming too. hoping to get out scouting tomorrow.

    Opening day of gun season saw a 39% decrease from last year, which was already down from previous years. I wonder what ridiculous regs will result from this next season...

    On my way home from work tonight I saw a few deer out in a field of a farm that’s about 350 acres that I don’t believe anyone hunts somehow. I counted 50 deer and a stud buck across the road in standing beans

    I know who the family is who owns it so I’ll be trying to get myself in there to shed hunt or turkey hunt to start and then go from there

    I have a list of places to ask already, but I'm waiting until this season winds down some. At work yesterday, I talked to a property owner who lives in FL and comes up to his 115 acres in OH for gun season. Hmm!!!

    It would be nice if my FAMILY would let me hunt the 25 acres or so that they bought over the summer. Maybe ill see if I can turkey hunt it this year to start with as well. I bet I could find some shrooms and sheds in there as well. My goal before next season is to score two new places to hunt.
