    Back in the tree stand. Wasn’t planning on being able to hunt this evening but it happen to work out and the wife reluctantly gave the ok so here I am! The wind isn’t percent, gusting 10-15 and swirling a little but it’s the rut so I’m gonna give it a shot.

    Well today is it for NY guys. Tomorrow begins Vietnam. Everything is frozen and slippery. But im up and busted a deer bedded 10 yards from my stand as I climbed up but... nothing I can do about that. Updates as they come. Good luck y'all

    Well I finished filling the freezer this morning. Now I can concentrate on trying to fill my Illinois archery tag with a buck.

    Well I want you all to know I tried will all my energy to pull the trigger on young bull my wide 8 2.5 yr old but I just couldn't. I had him at 15 yards but I passed him for the third time. I know we need points but a man has practice what he preaches. I'll be out every day but it begins tomorrow so tag soup for me

    With it being 3 full weeks of every jackass emptying their shotgun once a day... its pretty bad cap... pretty bad.
