    This is the first pup of my own so I have not. I've had great labs in the past but I was too young to keep them in retrieving shape.

    Well running hunt tests is just waterfowl hunting in the summer and let’s the dog get more time to work. You will get addicted to it if your not careful.

    Watch some YouTube videos of HRC hunt tests around your area. If you like that then look up “The grand hunt test” which run twice a year and you will see some amazing dogs.

    i'll be heading out tomorrow afternoon. been busy with plans to build our new house this December. getting the rest of the permits filled out this weekend then I can buckle down and focus on hunting for the next couple of weeks.

    Well its like last night was the switch for the bucks in my area. I got a salvage tag and picked up a pretty nice 3 y/o buck in front of my house this morning (lots of pictures of him). Then I passed another fresh dead doe and buck on my 0.5 mile drive to work. My younger brother is currently in the process of getting a salvage tag for a "160+" that he happened to be right behind when it got hit in Niagara County this morning. My roommates are up this weekend and they should be in for some quality sits.

    My buddies have been seeing more and more movement around us the past couple nights. One hunts maybe a mile or so away from where I'll be tomorrow morning so I think it'll be a great weekend. Might try to pull an all-dayer on sunday if need be. Good luck to everyone hitting the woods this weekend! Those with rutcations....bastards

    Confirmed not a 160+. Also confirmed my younger brother is a softy and let someone bully him into giving the deer away. "My buddy has pictures of this buck for the past 5 years" was all it took for him to forfeit the salvage tag to another passerby. Unbelievable.
