View from my new stand. Be able to see the whole woods from here. I’m optimistic for this spot considering how bad my other one has been this year.

For those that use ladder stands.... for $9 you can make yourself all but invisible. Buy a canvas tarp at Walmart and fence your shiz in. PM for address for thank you jerky. 1541022086576.jpeg

I wish I could quit work and just bowhunt and fish for a living. My schedule doesn’t allow me to get out after work and it’s worse when the time changes.
All I want to do is get in my stand! Ok rant over

Had a decent hunt tonight. Had a small 8 point make a rub at about 55 yards. Then two does were hovering the edge of the woods and disappeared. Finally saw some deer though!

I got my buck entered into the score card. 87” even, the whole missing half his headgear didn’t do him any favors.

Don't all bucks have 4 H scores? Or did I make that up?

Live from the basement. This was supposed to be my last 10 hour shift before a 4 day vacation, but our finished basement is trying to flood again. I'm home semi-freaking out until a plumber can get here. I'll be SO ready for a stress free woods sit tomorrow!

This little guy is about to take over my life in less than a month. He’s got amazing hunting/retrieving in his blood, and I can’t wait to turn him into a waterfowl powerhouse.
