Think I’m hunting Friday evening after work as well. Buddy had a great hunt tonight and I’ll have the beloved east wind I pray for

Cutting up a couple deer tomorrow and I’ll be back in stand Friday evening as well. Saw a bunch of does tonight just no shots. The wind had them super spooky. Last night I got great video of a 120’s buck with about 30 ft of string wrapped in his antler

I'm going to hunt the farm tonight. Not sure I'll be able to talk myself into a doe but if the stars align I might. I had buck show back up on cam yesterday that I thought to be dead too. All my corn is down so I'm flooded with deer. It is on.

Last night I went through 4 years of Tipsy pics. Looks like he normally sets up shop on 10/30 and then hangs out all late season. He's the only shooter on that property so far, but new bucks always cruise through during the rut.

Saturday might be my first time out there. Except for that 1 card pull, I've kept out since mid August.

Well boys I figured out a mistake I made in card pulling. I personally name my bucks and make folders organized by date so that I can analyze their movements. Young bull is my no shoot buck that will be great next year as I have posted. I had a friend over today and as we looked over the options I went into young bulls folder and noticed in some pics he looked bigger. So we started really getting into it and found that I have 2 bucks that look alike but one ...hence forth Capt Ron....has different main beams and is taller. So I'll left the best 2 pics and let y'all decide. I refuse and have refused already once to kill bull but Capt Ron might have to die.
Fyi I decided to go with a kurt Russell theme for naming bucks this year hence the capt ron, and jack burton

Bull is 2.5 and Ron is 3.5 I think. Dilater is still MIA so my number 1 is FWT and then Jack Burton. 20181025_121336.jpeg 20181025_121318.jpeg

Interesting. Do you know of any neighbors or anyone at all that has seen Dilater? I have a hunch he’s gonna show up here real soon. Did you have a pattern on him at all previous years?

My buck is alive! But, what looks like an entrance wound is at the neck/shoulder junction. I wonder if the arrow deflected??? I don't miss by 2 feet at 20 yards!

And a new giant is roaming around there...

Nothing... and he is not the type of buck that you even get a pic of without bragging so I would know.

Updated that last post with pics.

Sure looks like a 3 blade Muzzy hole in his neck. What was all the white hair at the impact site???
