    This is at the millionaire property, so it's just a narrow strip of woods behind all the houses. I have 2 friends coming over to help me search the entire woodlot.

    Getting ready to leave the house. Cold front just moved in, wind is gusting from the north at 15-25mph and drizzling rain...It’s gonna be a little chilly but hopefully the deer will be on there feet early tonight.

    In the same blind I was in last night. Got my 9 yr old with me tonight. Cold & rainy, hopefully the bucks will be on their feet early following the cold front moving in. Good luck everybody. Kill!!

    Another slow sit for me. Bumped two does walking in then had a forky out in the field just after I got set up. That was at 3:45

    Had a no-deer night tonight. I was about due for one of those. My younger brother killed his first deer with a bow tonight, a small 8 point. I am pumped for him

    No luck! We actually got on blood and followed it into the neighborhood. I'm almost positive he's alive. I put down a ton of corn to try for pics of him soon. I'm pissed at myself for overthinking the gimme shot!

    No luck tonight, had 2 yearlings come in about 6:30 and that was it. That cold wind was swirling pretty bad, the buck yearling was awfully nervous and actually came in on the same trail we took to the blind but they both hung around for quite awhile before heading off so I’m feeling pretty good about our scent control.

    Well I had to go to one of my branches for the third time in a week. It happens to be 250 miles from home....so by the time I get home today ( in total) it will be 1500 miles three visits and 30 hrs of travel for what will be 10 mins of work. That makes for a very bad day.

    But GOD does provide, as I grumble about how crappy my day is going I head in to the restroom and got a reminder on how other people have way worse days


    So guys take it into perspective No matter what you cry about...today was not throw your $hitty underware on the floor at Walmart bad .lol 20181015_115545.jpeg
