I downloaded it out of curiosity and check it to see what it says. Said today would be peak movement around 4-7 so we will see. Usually they move the last half hour of daylight where I’m hunting

    Good luck!

Teacher perks for me having Columbus Day off but it’s 80 degrees and it stormed last night I’m staying out until the big temp drop Thursday and Friday. Got a high of 45 on Thursday!

I'm SO pumped to hunt this entire weekend. Then one of my property owners asks me to help cut firewood from noon to 5 on Saturday. FML!

Young hunters are the best. His first buck and he said thank you about 299 times. I’ve never seen anyone more excited

We had an absolutely horrible weekend hunting with downpours and heat in the 80’s but he stuck it out. He asked if we could go last night and sure enough it worked out for us. We had 14 does in one hayfield and just one buck in the other. I ranged him at 175 yards, and he absolutely put it where it needed to be. I saw the buck fall over but he didn’t so I got an awesome video of him trailing the blood and being surprised by him laying in the hay. This coming weekend is youth waterfowl!

I , on the other hand had the flip side of that. The kid I took out was a trooper and sat through it all. But last night he hit a buck and we lost blood. I'm meeting the dog tracker in a few minutes but it rained last night so you never know.

Been there done that. Hate when that happens but glad you did your part looking for the animal. Gotta teach the young guys that’s part of it too. We’ve all been there at some point. Was the buck a stud?

Bummer. What’s your thoughts on the hit? Think it was fatal?

I think it was. Good bright blood until it jumped a down tree I'm guessing shoulder but with a 308 it made it through just not out
