    Regular Archery opens tomorrow . Found a tipped over oak blocking a main trail. I will be cutting a lane thru it tonight. Front moving thru today looking good . :bow:

    I put my nephew in my kill plot stand last night and he killed a doe which is cool but what's better is I had a camera on that plot. There was 14 deer on it including small bucks and at 15 he passed the bucks...
    Too small still he says
    He only shoots bucks bigger than the last one he killed and each year he moves up killing one for the past 3 years and now he is at 114 or bigger. But i digress here is the pic from the hunt

    I should have went out kicking myself now. Was planning on tomorrow night but now rain is moving in.

    Man, I’m kicking myself for not being in a stand this evening... Cool front moved in ahead of rain later on tonight...55 degrees right now and cloudy.

    Finally got my bow dialed in. Got all of my hunting cloths washed. Apparently I left my bag unzipped in the garage and a damn mouse died in my cloths...smh

    I got a Cabelas birthday coupon in the mail today...$10 off $40 purchase. We ran right over to stock up on Thermacell refills, doe pee and fishing lures!

    Depending on the situation tomorrow I’m gonna try and whack an old mamma. I’m gonna picky tomorrow still I have a feeling the bucks will be moving from bedding to feed with the cold front coming before the rain again. Who knows what will happen!

    18 does between last night and this morning with my youth hunter. Just couldn’t wrangle up a buck. Checked a camera though and was happy. [​IMG]
