I’ve got coyotes all over the place right now. Had a doe at 10 yards then she started acting spooky because she was being stalked by 3 and I didn’t have a shot at any of them.

If I didn’t love hunting coyotes so much, I’d probably be mad I had one spook out my field as well[IMG]

Tomorrow's high is 79° and this weekend is supposed to be 88°...so I got permission from the wife to hunt tomorrow after work. As long as this actually happens, I'll be back out chasing the millionaire 10 (or my daughter's decent 8).

I think I’m going to be picky when I hunt until the corn is out for now. My big boys are in the corn right now I’m guessing

Man, I'm worthless today at work. The truck is packed for an afternoon in the woods, but I have 5 hours of safety observations to do still. I just sit in the truck and make sure nobody cuts a leg off.

Well guys I'm back in Kansas. I'm only a few miles from Oklahoma so I can still chase some whitetails out here. Quick recap, saw three mule deer and a few whitetails and that was it. My hunting buddy came in a day late and only stayed a day and then left. It was very desolate and the hunting would have been extremely difficult. It wasn't what either one of us thought it was going to be so I can't really blame him for leaving. I do think we could have gotten on some more mule deer but it would have been pretty tough. Just lost one of the properties that I was allowed to hunt in Oklahoma so I am down to one private property (15-18) acres and some public ground. Got the family farm in Ohio to go to in November so I'm still hopeful to put another buck on the ground. In the meantime, I think it's someone else's turn to get one down for our team. Good luck fellas.
