found two really good spots to hunt today. both places give me a good opportunity for a buck or a doe.

I'm in a blind at the Millionaire property. Got to the house and couldn't find my release anywhere. Luckily, I keep my wife's release in the backpack just in case...

I don’t have any good news. I’m going through the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through and I thank you guys for being here to provide support and a place for me to vent. We were given news this afternoon the tumor is inoperable. They feel that if they operate in my dad that he wouldn’t get off the operating table. I’m a complete wreck right now. I’ve got so much going through my mind and to think about and plan and just take over the family. I can’t even begin to think about what life without my dad is going to be like. We are doing everything we can right now to make him as comfortable as we can. Godspeed.

ive been through your pain benny a couple of times now. every time feels like the first time. the feeling is something you never get over or forget, you just learn how to manage it. i just try to use the pain as a tool to help others handle the pain they are feeling. we will continue to pray for you guys. we just lost my brothers father in law two days ago to the c word. his stemmed from agent orange in vietnam. just a bad situation. make sure you tell your dad you love him every day. that alone helped me when my dad went through it. telling him that still is one of the best memories i have.

so on a lighter note i will do my best to kill something tonight for your dad!

best hunt of the year thus far. i seen 7 bucks and 18 does. three of the bucks were p&y, so needless to say i passed a bunch of does in hope one of those bucks would come by. about a 120" buck held up at 50yds on posted property and fed for about an hour and a half. the biggest buck was in the 140s and the other was at least 130 or so. i seen fighting and chasing just like early rut activity. i had to spook some just to get out of the tree. needless to say i'll be back there tomorrow.

seems like the second rut is underway. find feeding and does and seems that the bucks are checking those area plus getting to feed while there. needless to say i'm nervously waiting to get back there today. i'm going to try and get there a bit earlier if a midday feeder decides to come in.

No Sir. We ended on Sunday. Went Saturday night when it snowed off and on and nothing came out. Sunday we had 20 mph winds. So sadly I couldn’t help out anymore.
Not to put pressure on the other guys but I’m hoping we can still take this. Great group of hunters here.

ok guys, i saw 22 tonight. that 120 class buck showed again. this time he stayed closer to his bed i'm guessing. he was in the same spot as last night but never came as close this time. i'm going to have to wait for a wnw or n wind. no question i'll be good for a doe at this spot. hard to shoot a doe when i'm having encounters with him during daylight. i'm confident with a different wind just might be the ticket to get him closer. not sure if i'm going to hunt there tomorrow? after today i feel i need it to rest for a couple of days.
