I apologize if I don’t get us any points this year I might have a heart attack watching the cubs strikeout and get closer to blowing the division lead

Talked to my local farming expert last night and his beans are starting to get harvested today and corn should be coming out next week

I can’t wait until they take all the beans off by me. Then I can finally start seeing some deer again on my best property.

It’s been terrible, usually I’m getting great velvet pictures all through the summer. But this year they haven’t gone very far off the hundreds of acres of those beans. Fix if you get any DMP’s for 8G we should get together and hunt that property. The farmer gave me a quota of 10 does, so I’ll be keeping the friends and family busy this season.

I’ve got probably 500 acres of beans to the north west and west of my farm I hunt and then I’ve got 60 acres of corn in my field and about 10 to the north of me and that’s the only corn around. I usually hold the velvet bucks in the summer but this year they’ve held tight in the corn since it’s the best cover they’ve got. I’m expecting once the harvest comes I see a couple studs come out that I haven’t got pictures of yet I’m pretty pumped for the early harvest

Shot tonight for the first time since the new strings. Arrow has some fish tailing. If I paper tune, do I do this at 10 yards to start. Once I achieve a good hole, do I redo it at 20?

I have had good luck with the (French tune) I think they call it? Where you shoot all pins at a vertical line. But haven’t paper tuned in a long time.

So do I dial the nock flight in on several distances?

Good news is my bow has some punch again. Strings must have been stretched out.

I'm sure people might go back further but make your hole perfect and you will be fine.
Remember to test shoot with both eyes open.

I’m getting ready to pick up another hang on stand and a set of climbing sticks. I’ve got a pretty good coupon from Cabelas so I’m gonna pull the trigger pretty quick. Any recommendations or suggestions? My budget for the stand is 100-150 & i’d like to stay under 200 for both stand and sticks. Ive been looking at the muddy boss, millennium M25 & M50, & possibly hawk... If anybody has any experience with these stands I would sure appreciate any feedback.

I love big platforms(many do not) and I NEED metal seat. I hate cloth, vinyl, or any other style. Nothing pisses me off more than having to replace a seat due to tree rats eating it. As for sticks I use full connected climbing sticks. You can get a dual side step stick for 50 almost anywhere and they just seem quiet and secure.
