    Only problem is there’s still standing corn right to the south of my block of timber and that’s where they bed...also north East is a corn field by my access. Tough to get them to come out this weekend I have a feeling

    Youth gun opened today. I usually avoid the woods this weekend, but I might sneak out there tomorrow morning.

    I'm packing up the kiddos now and heading to the processor for my doe. We're going to be eating good for a while!

    Benny don’t let all those things bring you down. Over the years I have had all kinds of crap go wrong that made me so pissed I couldn’t see straight. Keep in mind that anything can happen and those guys around you could push something your way that would not normally show up. Not trying to justify the stuff happening around you, but don’t let them steal your joy.
    Stay strong and DO NOT let those near you defeat you. From dipstick neighbors to dogs to 4 wheelers and dirt bikes and trespassing thieves, those things will always be there. Hunt hard man and you will be rewarded!

    Seen 4 different bucks this morning, all within range just no shooters yet. Confidence level is at a 9! My butt is staying here until at least 2pm.
