    I am somewhat in the burbs as well and I have introduced my girlfriend of 6 years to hunting and she has fallen in love, ill be working to get her on a deer this year as it will be her first year out!

    Got my bow back today with new strings and a new focus grip. Hoping the rain will slow enough for some shots. I am really liking the feel of this grip. Should have done it a long time ago.


    Going on a little scouting adventure in the am since the rain is keeping everything soaked.

    Heading back to reality... and whitetail country! Couldn’t get it done on a bull this week but they were bugling everyday and we saw bulls every day. I called one in quiet and he came running into 20 yards on the opposite side of a blowdown. Stood and looked for the cow for a few minutes before realizing something wasn’t right. When I get home it will be one last camera check before October. I plan on staying out until the weather gets cool. [​IMG]
