I just had that damn black coyote at 10 yards but since he was so dark I couldn’t tell if I was on him or not at full draw

Siamese cat at 10 yards. He has every squirrel and chipmunk within 50 yards barking.

I've seen a spike and had zero response to blind rattling.

Been playing peek a boo with a buck I can JR all morning. I'm resolved to killing him if possible for the team.

I’m having doubts that I’ll see anything this morning unfortunately

Small funnel that leads to me. Acorns all over through here but no deer. I don’t get it. Maybe I put to much pressure on it. I get in and out easy. ? 4F29E2E9-6523-4F3B-B054-DF6170415921.jpeg

First few days of my hunt is always dedicated to buck hunting. Had a yearly doe feeding around me for awhile. She does that after Monday and she is getting shot.

Put on an additional layer to account for the 15 mph wind and I'm up. It's super crunchy so in between gusts I should hear them lol

Kind of breezy here but not to bad. I always have a backup sweatshirt in my bag just in case I guess wrong on the weather.
Leaves have dried considerably since this morning here.

Been in stand about 20 minutes. I am going to give it another 30 then try some rattling.

Headed to the stand. Been camping all weekend with my son and his Boy Scout troop. Got a much needed shower and a fresh change of cloths. Warm and a bit windy but hey, it’s November...and I might not be able to hunt again until next weekend. Good luck guys!

Something was on the other side of the fence knocking all sorts of corn down and thrashing branches...never got a look. One of these is going to make a mistake this week for me
