    Hypothetical hunting scenario:
Red dots are scrapes and yellow/green are fresh rubs. Woodlot to the West is off-limits. Fields never got planted. Where are you setting up?

I guess it all depends on the wind but probably the upper right corner or about the middle of the scrapes on the right side.

Like Henson said, with a south or a south west wind probably near the green. F5C7F95D-6B7E-4AF3-9E68-426F2F19E1F1.jpeg

That's a property we are surveying right now. We jumped a big mature 7 out of that tiny tree island (middle of field) yesterday. He's tearing the place up!

It all depends on the wind if it's out of the north ill hunt the south end but anything out of the west ill hunt that strip to the east or even that little finger that juts out into the field on the north end.

Leaving my house for the farm. I'll be in the stand about 85 mins before light but it's right by the bedding with a long walk through the woods to get there.

I’ll be heading out of the house in about 15. Heading to a spot I’ve hunted once but haven’t touched in 3 weeks. Easy access but can be loud depending on the wind, which there is none

I'll be doing some last minute prep in the rain tomorrow and then hunting the end of the storm Sunday morning.

So after deductions he would go about 145 inches correct? What a great buck.

Well boys, good news bad news. Young Bull the wide 8 from last year is back looks to have put on about 15 inches. I'm very grateful that I passed him so many times last year but sure wish I wasn't 12 hrs off with this sit. Screenshot_20191025-070119.jpeg Screenshot_20191025-070049.jpeg

Look at the spread on him! Awesome deer

I will be heading out to the stand around 1 pm today. With this weather has got me pretty jacked up for tonight's hunt! The farmer on my land cut his beans but still have a big corn field standing on one side of me but the farmer on the other side cut his corn yesterday. I am gonna take the horns with me today to see what happens.
