It's not my decoy it's my neighbors and I'm borrowing it for a week. The wind swirled all day today. I had deer on the neighbors coming my way until the wind swirled and they busted me. Even then they took another pass and started heading for the decoy until they busted me again. The real test will be tomorrow morning. Hunting a property within a mile of Goliath the 200 incher from a couple years ago. Before the landowner sold his property where I used to hunt, I had 5 no doubt p&y bucks on camera. That was two years ago. The property in between where I used to hunt and now hunt is a sanctuary for animals the lady landowner told me. The place where I used to hunt, those owners are feeding deer out of their hand from what I've been told. Where I'm going tomorrow is pretty much all grazing fields for cattle. I'm hoping the decoy will draw a big stink nasty out of he neighboring timber. I'll keep you all updated.
I have tried a bunch and built my own boiler. It's cheap 15$ including bucket but spend the money and have it done. Around here it's 75 for basic 115 for dip
