On the ground, no blind had a coyote walk up ten yards behind me. Couldn't get turned around to get a shot. I moved so he wouldn't run into me. I need one of those Rick Flair Woooo memes.
I am gonna take Friday afternoon off to go hunt. The forecast looks awesome. The corn should still be up so I am going to take the grunt call and horns with me to do a little blind calling to see if maybe I can pull one out of the corn. My friends buddy rattled in a nice one last night so definitely getting close to that time of year.

I never use them on my Indiana property because they have spooked deer every time for whatever reason. Never really tried it at home so I figured I would give it a shot maybe. That or I will take a bath in Evercalm. That stuff has always worked great for me.
I've seen urine work three times in 6 years without observing a real negative encounter. Those odds are good enough for me to drop $30 on pee every year. I switch my drippers to doe in heat around the 25th and will periodically spritz the same scent from my stand throughout a sit. This year, I also plan to flake off some Evercalm dominant buck into my scrapes.
