    Sorry I haven’t been active a ton lately, guys. Have been slammed with work, as it sounds like most guys are too. Lots of shooting and carrying 60 lbs in my pack to prepare for my short elk hunting trip, then it’s waiting until October 1st for our opener. For the first time in my life I will be able to stay out of the woods until the time is right. When I was in school I’d find a way to hunt no matter what, for the most part now I will be a weekend warrior until I pick some vacation days. I am excited to see what is on my cameras in a couple weeks.

    I’m going to get my last card pull before the season today after school. Got a half day and my best friend took the day off so I’m gonna get my last minute trimming in and then stay out for a month before October 1st opener

    I'm trying to post a kinda live from the stand pic, but it won't upload. I put up a giant ladder stand today and sweated my butt off! Should be a killer spot in a month or 2.
