I usually don’t wear much for base layers. I’m wearing the ScentLok Savanna Reign suit for early season, the ScentLok Maverick suit for mid season and then the ScentLok Revenant suit for my late season hunting. I’m also one that doesn’t get cold easily. The revenant is incredibly warm. I might just wear a t shirt and a long sleeve t shirt underneath and I’m good to go for that.

Yeah I have a couple early season scentlok suits. They make good stuff. I need bass layers though, I sweat too much walking in.

Usually during early season I’ll just get dressed when I get to the tree. I sweat very easily and I’ll just walk back in shorts and a t shirt.

Kansas bow season starts monday the 16th. My son won't have pre school that day so north wind he's coming with me south wind I'm begging someone from church to.watch him for a few hours. I will be checking cams throughout the week to narrow down where I'm going to hunt.

I really like the early season coveralls. I wear them as scent control under my fall gear also.

    Good luck Joe!

I start sweating just thinking about physical activity so I usually go in the woods in nothing but shirt and thin pants then I dress near my stand. I have a hodge podge of base layers I use. I have under Armour, merino wool, cheap long johns. They all have their place and work for the most part. A good portion of my camo is Under Armour but it is starting to show it's age so I imagine this will be it's last year before I have to start upgrading.

Life is good brother! Just crazy busy lately. Work has had me all kinds of tied up the last couple of months. How’s things going with you? Is it volleyball season right now for your daughter??

Our season opener is Oct. 1 in OK. Although it doesn’t feel remotely like hunting season yet, still temps in the 90’s all week here!

I’m a big fan of First Lite merino base layers. Kinda pricey but worth the cash. Black Ovis has some pretty nice merino wool base layers also that are more affordable. Merino wool is great because it’s soft, warm, & quick drying so I don’t smell like fumunda cheese. I always sweat getting to my stand so I normally wear a lightweight merino shirt to my spot and then get dressed once I cool down.

Joey, Are you trying to double dip with us & Team 10 or what?! They might be a little disappointed when they realize that you aren’t on the market and are in a committed relationship with the Champs!! Lol

I don't think I even took a senior picture session I just showed up on picture day and smiled!!
Also, I had to make one little adjustment to the sight and I am in business with the new arrows! I didn't even have to change sight tapes!

according to my boss the moose buck has started limping around for some reason, he could have been bumped by a car but i am not sure! I am hoping to get on him early or that his pattern changes because so far he is not in huntable ground until late in the evening or very early in the morning because he beds in a nature preserve that my permission butts up against!
