So this should be interesting I was shooting yesterday and broke an arrow! it was a robing hood which I have done in the past so I went to grab another arrow and I didnt have another.........so I am down to 3 arrows for the season, I didnt like that so I ordered new arrows but I got black eagle arrows instead of CX so we will see how big of a difference there is!

went out and scouted some today and i get to cross an unknown spot off my list. it isn't a bad thing when you can make your choices smaller. i'm heading out at 5:30am to hang a couple sets and change some cards in the cams. if i get anything good i'll post them.

I finally got a working cam up at the millionaire property and then the ********* neighbor turns it 90°. I'm just going to give the place a year off. It will be good for the deer and public relations.

We thought he learned his lesson 3 years ago. He stole 2 of the property owner's cams and turned mine off, after it took his picture, because he incorrectly thought we were set up on his lot. I might put out a dummy cam to catch him in the act again...

I was able to snagg some apple pumas from work after pressing cider, so i put A pile in the yard to see what would happen and so far I have the fattest doe I have ever seen coming to it! one week until the season and I hope she sticks around because her live weight has to be close to 160 pounds she is huge!!

Is there a spine difference from your current arrow? Once you get them cut and ready I would weigh it and compare to your other arrow just to see the difference. Odds are you will have to tweak your sight. If you are still using the King Pin that means shooting at 20 and 60.
Usually for me that is not much of an issue because my local shop has that software that allows them to create and print a sight tape based on a bunch of measurements they take. It is pretty cool especially if you don't shoot great groups out at 60. Mine are tight enough for my liking but anytime you can get it more exact I am all for it!

So I fell into a nice deal last week. My local bowshop can no longer use their back lot as an archery range so they had three of these stands and targets hanging out outside the shop. I asked the owner if he was going to sell them and he was only asking $100. The target has maybe 30-40 shots on it and if you Google it that morrell target retails for over $250 and it can take a helluva lot of shots. 20190909_123610.jpeg
