    I was dropping off the deposit for my taxidermist and ended up staying for an hour. He just did a 233" and 217" killed locally. The mount he's working on now has 9.5" bases and a decent drop tine. They all make my buck look like a yearling!

    How something like that move through the woods is beyond me. Those bucks are unreal!

    I know for me and probably a couple other guys if either of those deer came walking by my stand i'd sh!t my pants!

    Oh, for sure! I got buck fever looking at trail cam pics of a 165" last year...

    I was hunting in the same area this buck was killed a few years ago. Definitely saw his genes in some bucks I saw.

    Can you call it a matched set if the two sides are from different years? I just found the '18 side to a shed my daughter found from '17. He's a solid 125" that didn't gain much this year.

    honestly from the brow tine down it looks like the base has a lot less mass than the rest of the antler.
