    Hey everyone!

This summer I will be working in Logan, UT and I am trying to figure out how the tag system works. I will be able to hunt opener for the first week of the season. Along with that I will be able to spend a considerable amount of time scouting, as I will be working in the area all summer. Thanks for any input!

I'm no expert but I believe the tag dead line is feb 24. I also believe your chances as a non resident are very, very, very, very slim.

Great waterfowl hunting though. I would be all over that. Good luck.

You will almost certainly draw an archery General deer tag! I've never not drawn that tag as I was putting in for premium tags when I lived in Nevada and needed a backup hunt just for sure . I have Elk,Bison Desert Big horn, Antelope and Premium Mule deer bonus points so I'm hoping to draw this year. But those hunts require anywhere from 8 or more points to draw ;)

You have to apply for a deer permit. Archery spike/cow elk tags are over-the-counter.

You have until March 2nd to apply. Don't wait until the last minute... Sometimes the server has issues.

Sorry for the late response. My son just moved from Logan. He lived there for 5 years. He drew an archery deer tag every year. As Christine said you can buy a spikle/cow archery tag over the counter. In the 5 years he lived there he managed 2 deer and a cow elk. They had a heavy snow this year. The fish and game did have feeding programs for the deer up there. Hopefully the winter kill wasn't real bad. Hope this helps.

Yeah I had heard that too! I hope they herd gets through it relatively unscathed. I was able to get my application put in, so hopefully I can draw.

The results are in May. They post them towards the end of May. But watch your credit card about the second week in May they start hitting your cards if you draw. If you do draw let me know and I will talk to my son on some areas for you to look at.

What did you put in for Oldcarp?

So far I haven't drawn any sportsman's tags, expo tags, didn't pull a turkey tag and I don't have a cc hit for a bear tag. Lol

I put in for nebo archery elk (only 3 points, so I'm years away from pulling that tag).

I put in for Antelope on Parker Mountain. I should get that one this year. Archery deer up by strawberry and of course the OTC archery elk tag. Nebo Archery elk takes about 6 to 7 points. I do know a handful of people that have drawn the archery elk tag with 4 or 5 points. Nebo is my backyard it is rugged. If you draw let me know and I can show you guys a few area to look at.

    Good Luck on the Draws

Lived in Logan (well, Nibley actually) myself while attending USU. Never bow hunted but did see elk over by Monte Cristo while deer hunting, up Logan canyon while fly fishing, and anywhere between Hardware Ranch and Logan Canyon.

Nothing yet. My Credit card is slow to post anything. So I haven't given up hope.

    Sweet! Archery? Units?

Wait, I already know you applied for the antelope tag on the parker. Is it an archery tag?

I have three doe antelope points. I'll probably put in for the early season on the plateau
