Probably the usual Wyoming for deer and antelope, Kansas and Oklahoma for deer and turkey. Looking into a moose hunt in Canada or Alaska to celebrate my 60th in September. Waiting to see if my buddy can make it; don't want to celebrate alone. :)

Making up for an absolute zero days in the woods during the 2016 season. With a 192 acre farm to hunt 20 min from the house, and a 13,000 acre lease and hour from the house my cabinet shop kept me in there all season, all weekend and all night. Not this year folks will just have to learn they can't have it now! At lest all my family had the opprotunity to harvest many times over on the property and for that I'm thankful.

North Dakota archery muley if we draw (not holding my breath)

If we don't get that tag, we have a few other ideas... leftover tags etc. Backup plan is South Dakota again, but we've had that flavor of tag soup too often, so it'd be nice to try somewhere else

Well last year I put in for a point for Maine moose. I think this year Im gonna pull the trigger at least to the point of putting into the drawing. So for now I just need to figure out which WMD to put in for. Ive neither been to Maine or moose hunted so its all gonna be new for me. Which will make me one of those guys that screws stuff up because Ive never done this before if I get drawn (total lotto chances). Hell the only antlered or horned animal I've ever killed has been a whitetail. Thats what bucket lists are for.

2017 is a no go for me, I gotta wait till 2018, then I'll be back in Colorado for another go at filling my Elk tag....... Again!!!

So 2017 for me is all about getting fit and staying fit for next year and also finding a job that allows me to hunt more, so jealous of you guys that get to hunt so much.

Had a change of plans. I drew an elk tag in Wyoming so the moose hunt is off. Confirmed turkey in OK, deer in KS, WY and OK. Now elk in WY. May squeeze in antelope but only if I kill an elk. Can't wait for September...but wait, turkey season starts 4/6/17. Guess I'll start there. :)

Congrats! Keep us posted on the elk hunt in WY. I put in for some elk preference points and am looking forward to hunting there.

Last year i hunted out of state for the first time and enjoyed it (WV rifle season).

This year were gonna hunt turkeys in WV, PA and of course Ohio. Going to hunt deer in WV and Ohio as well.
