No, I believe the NFL "is" the mafia. Right along with the NBA, MLB and any other alphabet soup sports organizations. It goes all the way down to college level sports. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/09/26/ncaa-coaches-among-10-charged-with-fraud-and-corruption.html
Actually it isn't that hard. The money isn't simply given to the teams, it is mostly loans and/or tax breaks. For the packers, they were given a Loan that was paid back through a relatively short term tax increase. Bucks are in the process of building now, the state is given them bonded loan that is being paid back through the players income taxes. Other teams have done increases in Hotel room taxes and such. If the "subsidy" hadn't been given, it isn't like the local governments are simply going to have more money to spend, because it is all borrowing.
You know the remedy right? The networks will not show the anthem and will sell more commercials. There will be no more video of players during the anthem.
With my homer blinders on, I never would have thought the Patriots defense would be this horrible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Feeling better about Patriots defense. Not sure who is going to stop them in the AFC again. I do not believe in the Steelers. They inevitably crap their pants every single time they play the patriots. Bellacheck and Brady are permanently lodged and Tomlin‘s head. Tomlin was already talking about their December 17 matchup against the patriots two weeks ago. They cannot win a big game against the patriots. Not this year, not ever. They might get a regular season win here in a few weeks, but I highly doubt it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
All the Steelers have to do is knock Tommy around a little he gets pissed when he gets hit. Tom is a great QB don't get me wrong but he is a ***** when he gets hit.
No tears shed for the Bengals LB, he will be broke and in prison within 5 years of being out of the NFL. Absolutely zero self control, then agian he could be like Phillip Rivers and is a completely different person off the field.
lets not forget about pacman jones, oh wait he has been arrested before. i didnt like thou that ju ju was standing over burfet after the hit
Based on the history I thought standing over him was called for and sent a message, if the league can not stop him from cheap shots the players will.
act as if you been there before, i would have rather seen JU-JU step to the side and extend your hand and offer to help him up. i think that would sent a better message
I agree. Tom has gotten hit quite a bit this year. A decent run game by Lewis and burkhead will counter that. Quick short passes will eliminate the blitzes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Based on the lack of respect Vontaze has shown fellow players I do not think the positive approach works with him.
