I haven't looked at the schedules, what are some standout games this Sunday? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Packers vs Seahawks Cowboys vs Giants Not sure what else. I'll be bear hunting and unless my boy shoots a bear I won't be able to watch the Packer game.
I will be home after my daughters wedding Saturday, going to relax and watch the Packer game. Probably won't watch the early NFL game Sunday.
If Favre, Marino, Elway, Kelly, heck Fouts and Stabler played their entire careers under the rules Brady and Rodgers get the privilege of having, nobody would even know Brady and Rodgers names.
This is only partially true. I never said I don't love Favre and think he's an all time great. But anybody who knows football knows Aaron Rodgers is special. Some of his throws could not be made by anyone else (and I'm not talking about the Hail Marys). His TD to Adams vs Chicago. The Jared Cook sideline throw. Simply amazing. And if Brady and Rogers could play in an era where there was no salary cap,,,,, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They would be average. None of those I mentioned benefited from a non-salary cap league. If anything they were hurt by it.
Yet we see similar throws all the time. Most every QB can make the throws. Rodgers is a great QB today because of his being able to escape and make plays, and his ability to throw sideline. Him and Jordy have been great. but the difference today is they can play safer, those sideline routes while hard throws are relatively safe because if Jordy doesn't catch them it is just an INT. Just wait for a receiver to come open because defenses cant play defense anymore. Those "old" guys had to throw to receivers with DBs all over them because of the rules difference which resulted in a lot more INTs.
Let's talk in February and see how your team did compared to my team. LOL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
