He didn't say again. Dallas Cowboys are in fact Super Bowl champions, in the 1970's and 90's. Jerry Jones is my favorite Cowboy. As long as he is there they will never rise to their true potential. It took Al Davis passing away to get the Raiders somewhat back in contention. As long as Jones is owner/GM they will suffer the same undisciplined behavior and ride the same wave for too long. Parcel's would have gotten them there with Romo, Johnson likely would have won them one or two more. Talent isn't the problem, it's discipline and leadership, neither of which Jones offers.
Only one SB title between SF and Dallas since the Salary Cap was adopted. and that was Dallas off the team they had already bought and paid for.
Completely agree. Johnson and that franchise at that time couldve been historic. Jerry Jones is a complete idiot. But hey.... as long as jerseys are being sold and the media still talks about them, that's all he cares about. Pathetic.
Not a fan of releasing him, thought he would have been utilized more in the absence of Shazier but guessing it was irrepairble between them. Changes nothing IMO, he knows us, but we know him as well. No different than the last time he squared off on the opposing sideline when he went to the Bengals. Too much focus on a game that is not set in stone, media hyperbole
Difference is he knows everything about offense, defense, play book, verbiage, cues, snap count, etc. I wouldn't be shocked if Bill signed him just to gain that knowledge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't think he went there to spite the Steelers and give away everything he knows about them. Doubtful the Steelers would have released him had that been feared, he was under a two year contract they could have held him until the off season. I'd rather have him chasing Brady than Ben, but I don't think he is a game changer. Knowing things could be a disadvantage as well, wouldn't be surprised to see Ben draw him offsides a time or two in short yardage situations. Win or lose, if the game transpires, it won't be because of this signing.
No offense, and not trying to be a doush, but the Steelers defense has played the same way forever, which has allowed the patriots to dominate them over the years. He might give them insight on the old “ fake QB spike” play....LOL, or the “let’s not cover gronk play....” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How many snaps did he play. I just caught the last Jets offensive series. He went sack (strip fumble) then sack on the next play (double teamed). He looked possessed from what I saw. Could be a huge pick up.
They both interviewed for head coaching positions during the offseason, but they both opted to decline the offers. I'd like to see them both stay another year, until Belicheck's two sons are ready to take over the positions. They have both been in the Patriots coaching system for years, but it never recieves any attention.
