Hey if you have the opportunity to send your kids to the National Jamboree for scouts I encourage you to do so.

    White Water Rapids
    Cool Swimming Events
    Meet the SOS Rex Tillerson
    Meet the President on Monday

Seems pretty cool, is she excited to meet the president? I mean this in all seriousness I don't care who is president it would be interesting to be in the same room as the president.

I raised her to have her own ideals, she is a history buff and can tell you more about the fore fathers than must, while she understand and respect the office, her exact words to me were, dad why does it have to be this ass-clown when I finally meet the president.

She is a smart girl obviously she can respect the position if not the individual.

Yep, it was memorable but out of all the scouting experiences I had, it is the one I remember the least about. I had the opportunity to go to Philmont twice, led a group of scouts to the boundary waters, went to the national jamboree in 93' and went to Peak 95' in England. By far, the best experience I had was Peak 95'. Peak is like no other scouting event I've been associated with. We spent a month in England. Two weeks at the camp, a little over a week living with a host family and a few days touring London. It was a great experience.

Yep, every 5 years. As usual, Peak 2020 is scheduled to take place on the grounds of the Chatsworth House. It's an amazing mix of the different scouting cultures from around the world.

I watched it live, he had some good parts and some pathetic parts, but he's our man:)

I did love when he bragged about the size of the crowd, they were all forced to go, Secret Service had the camp locked down, and my daughter said was the coolest part, seeing how the Secret Service worked.

My daughter did have the best line after his speech, "Dad I think President lost his momentum during that speech, and momentum is an important word"

You'll have to watch the speech to get it.
