I'm not sure I could live up north for that very reason. I love all the months I get to bass fish in OK.

Haven't had a ton of time recently to fish but I caught my biggest pike on the Mississippi already this year. Can't wait to get back on the water.

Got into some gills today, work has exploded so my fishing has become very limited. I can never get the angle right with a tape, but he was closer to 9" than 8 1/2

Tossed back a lot of 5"

Headed out to Lake St.Clair this weekend for some smallies and cannot wait! Buddies of mine caught four yesterday that were over 6 lbs.

    Hopefully pics to follow!

Headed out to Colorado for a week to relax, do some elk scouting, and a lot of trout fishing.

Caught several of these beauties on Homestake creek

Also hit up a few more creeks and lakes.

Went striper fishing last weekend, only caught small ones, but still plenty of fun. They have to be over 28 inches to keep. The biggest I caught was probably 15 inches. Long arming this one.

Are those fresh water fish? I was out east a week or so ago and went striper fishing near cape cod, what a workout fighting those fish with heavy tackle.

They at salt water fish here that chase bait fish up the rivers, they migrate up and down the coast.
