Since JWD is a no show I have Paul Morrison on the way to check in!

Here is me checking in !! Might be a couple weeks before they start falling around here in ohio most of ours still have full head gear

 

Yeah, no worries...the contest has a long ways to go an a lot of folks are in the same boat. We still have deer here packing antlers too, I've been seeing some around the ranch the last couple of weeks with them still on.

 

I did fiend this squeaker a couple days ago

 

Hey hey hey...if it's a shed antler it counts...that breaks our glass ceiling and into the 20's!!!

Thanks glad to be here!! Just finished watching a shed hunting show with Pat and Nicole and now I'm pumped and ready to pick up some bone lol

Went out for a little walk yesterday, put on the snowshoes the deer activity has really slowed down in the area I went to.. no fresh track in the last 2 small snows.... only about 10'' of cover right know. waiting/wanting the sun to get warmer..

 

Looks like we are off to a good start!! I been stuck at work, I get off in a week. I walked a few places before I came out, probably 10 miles total in a few days. Think it was to early here still, I kicked up a couple still holding and still had most on camera with racks. Cant wait to get home and get looking!

 

happened to see this one this morning just about positive it's a deer antler.

took a small walk today but came up empty

spose'd to get some real warm temps here soon.
will melt what little snow we have. might have to put some miles on the boots

 

seen 1 from the road today but the field was way to muddy for a retrieve.
will go back soon.
