went coyote hunting today. stopped next to a sugarbeet field next to a river to call.
glassed the field a seen 3 antlers out there
a matched set (5x4) and a single 3 point. the set is a purdy nice one. sent my dog out and he retrieved all of them

I found some sheds today while running feeders and cameras. Unfortunately I also found one of my old favorite bucks remains too. All in one piece, at least his skeleton was. Good head and antlers, looked like damn yotes probably got him. I had him on camera not long ago and he looked good. Guess a winter pack of coyotes finally ran him down. Sucks.

sucks about the buck Covey. i also found a fresh dead 5x4 yesterday while coyote calling.

 

Thanks, as it turned out it was not the buck I thought it was. I had Jaws on camera right up through last night and he is a full ten rather than a nine but shaped really similar. There were several bucks on camera this time around that I've never seen before and this dead head may well be one I wasn't aware of...odd, I don't think I've ever had this many new bucks just show up out of thin air before at one time. Not that I'm complaining, a few of them are nice.

 

Here are the two sheds I found yesterday, matched set and here's a pic of the buck they came from. I love trail cams, lol.

 

I guess we need to get a captain selected so that we can get a team score posted and updated. I started the team thread and have been keeping it updated with check ins and score just because I made the initial post but that has no bearing on team captain, just needed to be done. If anyone wants to be captain or make a nomination please feel free to do so, I couldn't care less about being a captain personally but I'll do it if no one else wants to do it.

Nice sheds. It always sucks to find a buck like that.
Season ends here on the 10th and they should start dropping sheds lat March early April.

Found these on 1-14-16. Went to do a camera check and spotted the first one across a ditch walked over to pick up and followed the trail about 20yds and there layed the other side in a tree top.

Jan 29th. Jan 30th out with my son.Feb 1st before new snow fall gives me 5 so far got 6in fresh snow last night on top of 4 already had might be a week or so before I get out again.

Good job guys, I added Chevs on the first post. Everyone will have to let me know if the posted totals are correct as we go along, I have trouble keeping track.

Lol, exactly why I said you guys needed to keep an eye on the totals. Sometimes the posts reporting sheds overlap and I don't catch them as different finds or miss them altogether.
No I don't think deadheads count.
We still have one team member that hasn't checked in. Looks like we're leading so far with the next highest count being 15.
