    Well the brief if the story is...hunted with an absolutely great group of guys. Food was beyond excellent too. As I guess you maybe or maybe not noticed while hunting I didn't post anything on here, I hunted as focused as I ever have only skipping out in 1 morning hunt the whole week.

    Yesterday 12/15 was my birthday and my last hunt of the trip, I saw so many deer all week...and probably more bucks than I have in the past 5 years combined at home. Last minute of last light on the last day I got it done though.

    Quick scored at 140". Now I'm well aware that isn't the biggest buck in iowa, but by far my personal best.

    Oh not to mention, I was so shaken up as how everything went down I couldn't even climb down for 20 mins.

    Thanks again to Tom for the invite. If any non-midweaterners have ever thought about the idea of going to iowa....Do IT!

    We hunted with an outfitter that I am friends with and have hunted with every 2 years a few times now. If I could only hunt one place ever it would be there.
