    Nope you don't have to specify what unit you will be in. When you buy the tag you just buy the OTC license

    Well with knowing that we will def attend camp. It will only be for a few days though because that's at the end of our time off we took from work.

    We will be off from the 8th to about the 23rd. We plan on hunting 10 days with 2 days for travel and few days at home

    That should work out nicely! If you hunt another unit 1st and are seeing elk, do not leave the area. Lol.

    My plans at the moment are to leave the morning of the 12th or evening of the 11th. I will drive straight through and meet Bails in Fort Collins on the 13th. We are going to rent a yurt for a place to dry equipment and will be hunting unit 6 that first week for sure. If we are on the elk we might stay there the whole time. Really depends on what his plans are. It's going to be interesting hanging out with foreigners again!

    Thinking I'm in for this year. Ive been wanting to get out west for a while but have not had the time or the money. Seems like it should work out good this year. Please let me know if anyone is coming from the Virginia area and is interested in carpooling. All my hunting buddies talk like they want to go but wont commit.

    The camp is a little south of Minturn. Unit 45. Not 100% sure if it's going to be held in this location again though. But this camp is happening!

    im really looking forward to doing this as a first timer. I may even spike camp one or two days. Judging from all the walking envolved I'd like to get a couple of good days in. Are atv's allowed? Can you drive to a trailhead or forest road?
