OUCH! Prayers for Rob!...speedy & full recovery.

Does CO allow for him to refund or exchange a deer tag for future year?...just curious.

Wish I could get back to the mountains this year but I have scheduling conflicts. Next year I'm hoping.

Time to get serious gents! The camp is 90% set up and there are guys there this week to finish the job. I dropped Chris off (from Scotland) at a remote location. He is going solo for five days and will walk back into camp on Friday. Got to give the Uk special force marines credit. They like both the challenge and the hard way...bevys and bugs.

This is the list, please add your name if you are attending! I will purchase food bases on those names on the list. If you arrive and you're not on the list, I will not feed you-you will be one your own!

    Iamyourhuckleberry (Will)
    Paul Seward (local)
    Michelle Marks (local)
    One or two other locals
    Lionel Paul Berthault (from France)
wl704 (Bill-just to make things confusing with Will)
    Oscar Munoz (from Spain)
    Troy Hogarth (from Australia)
    PeterC
    DanN

I did not get out much this weekend, since setting up the camp in a huge chore. Paul Seward did and he saw a bull and three bear. The leaves are turning and the nights are extremely crisp.

camp looks something like this. Remember, we are roughly at the intersection of forest road 705 (no name road) and Highway 24. the intersection is roughly a mile and quarter further south from Homestake Road, which is south of Redcliff, Colorado on highway 24. Pull off of 24 onto 705. Travel 100 yards and turn left. Camp is at the back of the large open area.

Good stuff Will! I know that when you set up camp in 2014 it started to get me really excited! I really hope we can make it down there for at least a day. If I tag ours by this Sunday I will be cutting my trip short unfortunately. I applied for and been invited to test for my local police department. Really wish it wasn't happening that week.
