I wasn't being ugly at all. I was just saying it didn't make business sense. So I stand by what I said. I took time off from work to meet some of the cool guys on this site and now it's not making money or costing money so the family aspect of it's gone. It's classic America. Ohh well. Best of luck to you guys.

I am staying out of this whole thing! I along with a few others are still planning on all meeting up and camping for a few days! Still gonna fling some arrows at the campground, do some fishing, eating, lots of drinking and bull****ting around the fire!

You've talked about how you're episode views are increasing yearly I'm sure your forum traffic is increasing as well. When you say all good things must come to an end are you guys thinking it's done for good or perhaps you'll bring it back in the future is a possibility? Just kinda bummed was hoping to go in the future. Whether you guys realize it or not you're becoming more and more "big time" every year IMO so I could see the potential for your attendance to start going up. I think you guys should have it every other year.

Also I bet if you talked about the GTG more on the webisodes like mentioning it at the end especially for the last few webisodes of the season and talked about it and the opportunity to meet the hosts and some of the crew I bet attendance would increase. Most of your "fans" I bet spend little time on the forum where it's mostly discussed other than the usual crowd. I don't do Facebook so not sure about that.

I have been to almost every GTG over the years and it was a solid time. I think what most of you are missing here is that most of the event is actually at the campground, that is where the true brotherhood lies. I have helped with setting up the shoot in the past and there is a lot that goes on with it. If Fergie still has a hangout at the campground you will all have fun, that is how the whole thing got started in the first place.

Todd and Justin opened up the club in the past and I personally know this was never a money maker but a great way to compliment the gathering. I would get all butt hurt over this announcement but I know they took heat from some of us in the past because we couldn't see many of the BH.COM BH or Die staff since they were setting up and meeting with sponsors, something that goes along with throwing the event. There is a silver lining here and it is in fact that this whole thing can go back to its roots.

If some of you were planning on going then work with Fergus to meet at the campground for a few days, that was always the intent. You will still fling arrows, drink, eat and be merry:rock:

not sure if it was posted someplace else? but did everyone see graf's picture inside the front cover of NA Whitetail the last issue ( spring 2016) postering for Heartland wildlife? appearing with products in big magazines is the beginning. just poking fun!

I wanted to go to the GTG but too far away. if it was in OH a bit closer I would've went.

I would be more than ok with this... I heard he has reserved numerous cabins free of charge for us as well.

Walleye fishing, slingin arrows, and good friends at the lake. Make it happen Fitz.

Ha! With archery events like bridge building, trail clearing, cabin staining, and wood splitting. It's kinda like Mr. Miyagi, don't question my archery training methods....

I could never make the event due to the timing (end of school year, getting my finals ready, etc.,). If you move it Ely, make sure it's like in July so you know temps might at least hit 50 :D

Too bad that I wouldn't even be able to attend it if it was here in July. Now February, we'd be talking. We can hit 50 then too...
