No, sorry. Wish I had taken a pic, we just weedwacked a bunch of fresh grass from my buddies farm and grassed in the layouts the night before and then we fill a garbage bag with extra and bring it with us to fill in gaps the day of. It worked well enough lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hopefully going to pass shoot some geese as they fly over my house. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Having a heck of a time uploading video to photobucket unfortunately so no video but a couple pictures. Ended up with 17. Brought my wife, co worker and his son out and we had a blast. Finished all birds within 20 yards. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
New field tomorrow with about 30 birds in it. I think it's the same birds from this morning so will switch the spread up. Not going in nearly as confident as today because it's a recently plowed wheat field that's been planted into cover crops with zero cover. Will be setting up and standing in the corn next to it but the birds were using the middle of the field tonight. We'll see! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
If you are hunting a field with no cover. Get yourself some popup haybail blinds. Works every time. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Bought one years ago and ended up selling right away. More harm than good around here. Today's hunt was miserable. Stood in the corn and it rained from hour before sunrise to about 9. Birds never did get up and leave the roost as of 10. I'm soaked as well as all of my gear. Everything is drying in hopes of finding something for tomorrow. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
nada this morning. a field is flooded across the road from us that is next to a school. every duck and goose our side of town is hitting it. we did get crapped on by a wad of teal that buzzed us but overall slow.
Pouring rain again when I woke up to go out this morning so I slept in. Birds have been hitting fields less than a mile from my work so I may try tomorrow morning before work. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
