It'll be a high of -2 and a low of -25 here on Saturday... I thought about going out but i may decide to stay inside at home.
I was thinking the same thing, also don't know if there is enough ice back home for my truck. Got a nice score on the derby last night, someone traded me all my fish on day 1 for a under water camera so I took the deal and then I got an upgraded auger so I got into small walleyes on the first day, one had a tag and then I was off to the races Picture won't load but it was 17000, previous high was 10 Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Come on up to Red this weekend! Fishing in sweats is where it's at - Reports are that best bite is at night... The best news a guy can hear fishing out of a sleeper house. Heading out for walleye around home again tonight. Went out Tuesday and did decent, 3 eater walleyes. Looking for the big ones.
That sounds tempting on red lake, I've done that exact same thing before and we hammered the crappies.
0 fish last night. Marked some and had a few lookers but they were locked up. Really hoping this snowstorm doesn't affect our trip to Red tonight.
We are in for about 6-8" last time I checked, but on the edge of the storm. This workday is just killing me... I want to be on the road, and catching some eyes/bottle bass!
Can honestly say I was nervous yesterday lol. Anyone else in Midwestern IL on ice yesterday? We caught a few bass and bluegill. Nothing to write home about... "Couldn't think of a good Signature"
Your 2" of ice and our 2" of ice looks a lot different! If it was that clear, I don't think I could mentally trust it!
Anyone on here use Lindy Perch Talkers before? Think I'm going to get a couple and try them out since we always seem to be in perch.
