    A good 5 inches of ice. Was slow only got 2 crappies. 10" and 12" both went back down the hole. Marked a ton but they just wouldn't bite.

    It's been so windy, we didn't ice over until Thursday night! It was -11 here this AM and looks like we'll be cold all week :tu:

    Can't wait for winter to finally get here!!

    Most lakes around me have 2.5-5 inches of ice depending on the lake.. supposed to get down below zero almost every day this week, I'll be heading out this weekend.

    Everything is booked for this weekend. We are renting an ice castle on Red Lake going out of JR's. Enjoy the night bite out of the castle and run/gun during the day.

    Friday night and all day Saturday/Saturday night. If we do catch fish JR's will cook it for us which is good.

    My buddy has a frabill rod locker I think. He has around 10 rods in there. It's tough as he!! It's fell from the 4 wheeler before and not had any issues.
