It'll be about another week till the beetles are done with it. When I get it back I will post some different angle pics and re measure. I think it looks bigger in those photos than it really is.

Thanks man, I didnt realize how exhausted ive been since I cut back working overtime about two weeks. I thought I'd gain energy, but rather Ive been fatigued as heck. The last couple of days Ive finally gotten some energy. Full steam ahead for the rut!
MD guys.....Looks like the front we need to drop the temps should be moving in late next week. Perfect timing. A little rain followed by 10-15 degree temp drop. Bam...right in time for Halloween KILL day.

Hey guys, sorry for the inactivity. It's been a tough season so far, very few deer sightings. I got it done yesterday morning though! Bucks are just starting to cruise and respond to calls. I'll get a score when I pick him up from the butcher. Shot at 8:15 am on 10/27/2015
He was cruising and investigating some light rattling. There was another much larger buck killed several hundred yards away at the same time coming into a can call. Maryland guys, now is the time to call them or catch them cruising. It's only going to get better over the next week or so.
