Recently my step son and I visited Mountian Meadows in Greenville West Virginia for a hunt. I had the NoCam dialed in and wanted to sling some arrows at something other than paper and plastic. I intend to post a story and short video to this thread soon but for now here is a pic. This was a first for me using a thumb release while hunting and I learned a few things this time go round.
I was definitely a bit skeptical about all the hype around the NoCam HTR before I shot one. I had a Chill X and thought I would be sticking with that for awhile until someone convinced me to just shoot a HTR. The draw cycle was almost the same as the Chill X and I could hold the pin on target the same. The longer riser made a difference I think. That allowed me to shoot a bow 2" shorter A2A with better accuracy. I heard all these people talk about how slow it was. Then I shot a little over IBO weighted arrow through a chrono and at 27" draw I was getting 280 fps. Not blazing but definitely not slow by any means. I'm not gonna say it's the best because what's best for me may not be best for someone else but I will say that the bow does live up to the claims that Mathews makes about it.

Thanks gents..Unfortunately no scales but I am guessing live weight of 325 to 350. I am good on pork at least till next year. That is unless I get an itchy trigger finger. :p Still need to review the footage and do a write up

Nice Hog! I'd say all of 350lbs. Thanks for sharing the video. Was the kill shot in there? Love to hear the story of where you hit him, what broad head and how far he ran.
Nice hog! I have a head mount from what was about 300# live hog, but that was on a high fence hunt in PA. Congrats on the trophy!!
